In case you can't tell (it's sad that I say that so much), the light is coming from the opposite direction on the town in the second (third?) panel. This chapter ending feels a little abrupt. I actually wanted to have a whole page to show his work day before he comes home to find Yahiko gone... but I was getting impatient wis this chapter, so there you go. I doubt any other chapter will be this long.
