I don’t have much to do at the moment. To use my own computer and work on my own stories, I’d have to go home. But I don’t want to use up gas to drive home just to work on stories unless the seats are removed from the back of my van so I can bring my electronic equipment over when I come back. So I’m pretty well stuck here waiting for my dad to get home so he can help me remove those seats. That’s somewhat OK, since the two most promising places at which I’ve applied have the phone number of this place rather than the apartment, but it still leaves me with very little to do. So I’ll just write the random thing that’s been floating in my head for the last two weeks.

(edit: story bit deleted)

*yawns* That’s about where I feel like stopping, and I don’t fancy editing it at the moment either. It’s happy to be out of my head, it seems. Anyway, I think I’ll find something else to do like walk up to McDonald’s and torment my former co-workers (which is technically against the rule for managers, heh heh), or maybe go watch a Jane Austen movie. I don’t really feel in a Jane Austen mood right now, but that’s all I have on DVD here at the house — well, except for Moulin Rouge, but PG-13-rated flicks aren’t allowed here. Just about everything else is back at the apaato waiting forlornly for me to come pick them up and prove once again that I love them.

I joined MediaMiner earlier. I was bored, so I thought I’d jump on the bandwagon. Not that I think MediaMiner is a bad thing… I just don’t much fancy their story-uploading/editing system. Since I’m not on my computer, I just put up some one-shots that I grabbed off my own website; once I’m at greater liberty to upload, I’ll put the longer ones up. *glees* Maybe I’ll get some more comments if I’m at a new place. Reviews do make me so happy and inspired and productive. Reviews make me a better person.

That’s all for now.
