The hair project got dumped, but I still managed to get into “costume” (an eclectic collection of clothing) and pose for the camera. It is a little difficult to take peectures of myself, but I don’t know if I could pull off these silly poses wis a straight face for anyone else. The biggest sadness it that if I had known I wouldn’t be doing the full mohawk, I would have done something completely different wis my hairs… but by the time I realized the spikes were going to take too long, I didn’t feel like washing it and totally re-doing it. Anyway…
Then on the actual day of Halloween, I randomly got the Jack-o-lantern urge. I had to drive to five different grocery stores before I found one that still had pumpkins. You may note the conspicuous absence of the left wing in any of these peectures; it’s because the drill batteries were taking too freaking long to recharge and it was already 1430, so I knifed it and it looked terrible.
And that was my Halloween.
You look very cool, as does your pumpkin. ^_~
Sankyuu sankyuu. Halloween is the best holiday!
zomg *__* That’s an amazing pumpkin!
Sankyuu. Pumpkin-drilling is a minor hobby of mine. Minor because the circumstance comes around once a year and it’s not often that I feel like spending the four or five hours it takes and enduring the intense wrist-pain it produces. It’s fun when I actually do, though.
*____* Best pumpkin EVER. I love that you did that on a spur of the moment.
Also, black faery! ^_____^ Your hair still looks cool, even un-spiked.
It was more like the spur of the hour. Does an hour have a spur? I dunno. And I don’t know that it’s better than the Darth Maul one I did a few years back but stupidly did not get pictures of.
And I wish I’d had wings. That would have been the best.
Pumpkin
Awesome job on the pumpkin. Bet it took a good bit of time.
Where did you get your costume?
Yeah, the pumpkin took several hours.
And the “costume” is just a bunch of my clothes in a combination I would never actually wear.
You have hairs like I want to get once it gets a bit longer.
And, bitchin’ costume.
The only annoying thing about a mohawk is how often I have to go get the sides shaved. And sankyuu.
Your costume reminds me of the ninja zombie in the movie that some of us were in. I love it. And the pumpkin dragon is mega-impressive and makes me wonder what a pumpkin dragon would breathe on its victims.
I do not want to be a ninja zombie. Zombies scaaaaare me, and methinks a ninja one would be worse. Of course, if I were a ninja zombie, I doubt I’d realize it, so it would probably be OK.
And, seeds, of course. Eeeww.
Yes, you do look awesome.
Also the pumpkin, but the knifed wing was a bit suckish. Ouh well.
Yeth. But sneep is more important than wing.
