Meme: Everyone has things they post about and everyone has things they don’t. Meme topic 1: Well, I don’t really have any concrete beliefs about life after death, but I shall sort through what I do think about it and put it here. I believe in angels in some form or other — at least that there are some who, after death, preserving the consciousness and identity formed during this life, are still able to influence people and events in this world. Therefore I believe that at least some of us remain themselves as we know them (or something similar, perhaps more) after death. Does this apply to everyone? I don’t know. I’m rather partial to the mass-consciousness theory wherein dead souls are re-absorbed into a universal collective which is thereby improved… but I’m not sure how much I believe in such a thing. I definitely believe in happiness after death; beyond that, I honestly don’t give it much thought at all XD
