Lately I’ve been supremely bothered by freezing cold toilet seats, but heated toilet seats are mind-bogglingly expensive.

Yesterday some guy greeted me, “Dude,” and then apologized when he realized I was female.

Today I do not feel at all well, and intellect-clouding medicine renders me further unproductive. I’m trying to decide whether to take a long bath or to play WoW.

“Language, Nefret,” I said.

“I beg your pardon, Aunt Amelia. But he is!”

“Just a good policeman, my dear,” said Emerson.
