Good lord, Aoshi is talking so much in this chapter. I have never written this much Aoshi dialogue maybe in an entire story, let alone in a single scene. What’s really worrisome, though, is that he’s turning into a philosophical Ran. It makes perfect sense, I suppose, for assassin wangst to bleed through one fandom into another, but still…

Anyway, this chapter should be finished tomorrow, which makes me happy, and then everyone else can marvel at Aoshi’s loquacity. After that I believe I will look at Alach and such, since I have been interested in them lately, though I may be detoured again to Kokku and Bryn. We shall see.
