So I got most of the day off work today, which made me happy ^__^ Part of the reason it made me so happy is that I’m quite tired today, which means that home productivity has not been too great. I edited Plastic quite a bit, but nothing new felt like being written on it. Mostly I’ve just been sitting around listening to “mah boi” and burning CD’s for my mom. Also looking at laptops and stuff, since methinks I shall be purchasing one next week.

You were born during a Third Quarter moon
This phase occurs in the middle of the moon’s waning phases, after the full moon and before the new moon.

– what it says about you –

You like to make up your own mind. You may find it hard to relate to mainstream opinions on issues, and you definitely don’t always like what’s popular. You can work out solutions and give birth to big ideas when left to yourself, and other people will be impressed with your conclusions even if they’re not sure how you arrived at them.

So recently I had a zombie dream I forgot to mention. I was all killing zombs with a long knife or short sword, and one of thems came at me with these really sharp pruning shears. I took them from him, and started killing zombs with them; they were super effective. But here one needed a priest to exorcise the zombs, or else shortly after you’d killed them they would get back up again. That was a pain.

A more recent dream was, like a certain set of movies I could name, nominally set in Middle-Earth but in most other ways dissimilar to it. Actually it was very WoWish, but had Tolkien names attached. I was an elf, hanging out with some other elves, and we knew that an army of Morgoth was approaching. For some reason it consisted of zombies rather than orcs and dragons or whatevs. We had retreated to this cathedral with a large group of humans that couldn’t fight, and stowed them in the lower levels of the building hoping to keep them safe there.

Upstairs, we prepared for battle. I have a lot of dreams about preparing for battle, not infrequently with zombies. And as is often the case in these dreams, the battle never actually came before I woke up. Anyway, I had a sword, and somebody had given me a pocket full of bullets, but my dream couldn’t quite decide whether guns had been invented yet. Then there was something about explosives? And a bunch of tiny beads I put in my mouth, which led to a brief, rather incomprehensible sidetrack about homemade earrings one of my fellow elven warriors was wearing.

I was questioning my companions about various aspects of our situation, most especially whether any humans would be joining us to fight. I mentioned some of the human heroes that had allied with elves in the past, but my companions said that, no, none of the humans we had with us there were capable of fighting. And about then the dream ended. My favorite part was the beads.
