Cat has caught two mouses and is stalking the kitchen for more. I put the first two outside, but the second one was looking very… near-dead. It’s quite cold out, but having seen what my cat does to mouses if she’s allowed to keep them makes me think any sensible mouse would prefer freezing to death.

Now how about a meme. Here is the top 106 books most often marked as “unread” by LibraryThing‘s users. As in, they sit on the shelf to make you look smart or well-rounded. Bold the ones you’ve read, underline the ones you read for school, strike through the ones you started but didn’t finish, italicize the ones you have sitting next to you this very moment waiting to be read sometime soon.

OK, enough meme. Now for a dream. So I had this dream where I was romantically interested in Igor from QfG4, because apparently after you got past the weird way he talks he’s really intelligent and stuff. Only then there was this vampire with whom I was having this sexually-charged conversation. He said something suggestive about a shotgun going off and I don’t even know what-all. He was all rubbing up against me from behind, though mostly the dream provided the sensations of a female body doing this rather than a male (thoroughly preferable).

Yeah, so, we were having this innuendo-filled conversation, and occasionally kissing… he reeeeaallllyyyyy wanted to bite me, but I kept telling him not to. I was feeling a little guilty about this, because of Igor, but not making any move to stop. Eventually vampire said something like, “Remember what I said about the shotgun going off?” which I took to mean he was about to come from grinding against me. But instead he turned his face aside and vomited on the floor.

When I woke up I thought this was just about the funniest thing I’ve ever dreamed, but in the dream it made me quite sick. I ran off to a bathroom, and there was a definite element of dramatic emotion to the running… evidently I wasn’t just physically ill, I was sad that this had happened. He came after me eventually, and knocked on the bathroom door; I told him just to teleport in, which he did. He appeared in this awkward, sheepish pose, and we were obviously about to have an awkward conversation, but then I woke up.

I did well on my to-do list today. Rose Pale chapter 11 picture is looking pretty good so far. Things progress toward exciting vacation next week. Yay! Now I shall go to bed.
