Aight, time for the weekend update, post-bovine edition. As a matter of fact, you could call this one the ovine/caprine edition.

On Friday we did more livestock-wrestling. Or, rather, we did our first livestock-wrestling, since wrestling a rodeo bull kinda constitutes… rodeo, and none of us are qualified for that. Anyway, there were three sheepies, three goats, two alpacas, and one turkey. Two of the goats were pygmies, but one was… well, I probably should have recognized the breed, but I didn’t. She was tall, anyway. My muscular thighs are still sore from straddling her and trying to hold her in place for injections. Also? Rumping a big fat sheep is a big fat pain in the ass.

So that was pretty awesome. I’m a little tired of small ruminants, though; this weekend’s homework assignment is freaking huge. I’m not even done with it yet. But our test on that is tomorrow; we’ve already started the porcine lectures. Because talking about bacon is way less tortuous than talking about beef. RIGHT.

I broke down and got back on stupid Facebook. The reason for this is that I share a lot of random thoughts on most days, and I found I was wasting a lot of energy sending multiple texts and sometimes emails (and often running into another room to share with someone in person as well), and Facebook suddenly started to seem like a much more efficient way to do this.

So if anyone is into Facebook and wants to have random thoughts shared with them, feel free to search for email address jayrobinjayrobin at geemail dot com. This isn’t me looking for friends, though; if you’re not into Facebook and you don’t want to have random thoughts shared with you, please ignore this.

I had a dream just now that was too incoherent to narrate, but a few elements involved in it were: working at McDonald’s (-__-), having sex with a lovely lady, having a neat system of doors and ladders leading out of the downstairs windows, and… I don’t even know what else. It was confusing.

Today I need to finish that homework assignment, make some serious progress on my art exchange piece since I wasted all my drawing time over the last three weekends on a freaking cow and I won’t have a lot of (read: any) free time between now and the end of the month, and GET SOME WRITING DONE so that I don’t go frothing mad. Since it turns out that, as usual, I don’t have nearly as much to say as I thought I did, I guess I’ll get started on all that!
